SAM cannot confirm my registration key

Hi

Since around two weeks ago, SAM 2025.4.16 tells me that could not connect to NREL server to verify my registration key. I have check it with my IT departement in my centre and they ask me for the url of the NREL server; I don't know certaily what is the url of NREL server for SAM. COuld you help me in order to send to my IT office the url and so allow them to check if they have shutdown the connection?

Hi Jesus,

Please make sure you are using the latest version of SAM, which you can download from sam.nlr.gov/download .

If you must use an older version of SAM, you will need to follow the procedure described in this post on the SAM forum:  sam.nlr.gov/forum/forum-general/5160-update-script-for-sam-versions-older-than-sam-2025-4-16-revision-2.html .

I am hearing from other people having trouble with the registration process, and we are investigating to see if there is an issue with the registration server that is preventing some people from registering the software.
