Hi,
I've been messing with the SAM C++ code repo (copying functions), in order to get a Parabolic Trough field that will directly take input temperatures from my side.
To say again, the only thing wanted is the separation of the CSP field from the rest of the code, so that all input temperatures can be controlled for heat transfer analysis.
I've already checked so much of what SAM, PySAM, and the C++ code can do, and I can tell that it can't do this.
The purpose of making this post is listed below:
1. I want to check if anyone has any knowledge of any people modifying this code for this purpose.
2. Other tools are either extremely basic, or too expensive.
3. If anyone is interested in the final result of this, let me know. I am attempting first to transfer this code into a format I am more familiar with (Python), then will remake one within C++.
Thanks, good day.
(If this post is not clear enough, say so, tired of seeing posts that are incomprehensible and want to be made aware if my posts are awful, so that I can change).
