Wind turbine power curve problem was created by Junchi Ma
Hello,
Please help me to solve the problem with the wind turbine model.
When I build a wind turbine model, firstly I use the SAM software and select "Define turbine design characteristics". The parameters are shown below:

Then, I can get a power curve of the turbine. However, when I use the function "calculate_powercurve()" in PySAM, the power curve generated by PySAM is different. The attachment is the details of two power curves.

Therefore, I can't find the reason why the two curves are not same. I hope you will be able to help me. Thanks!

Hi Junchi Ma,

It may be possible that the inputs to the PySAM 'calculate_powercurve()' function are different from the inputs in SAM.

Please provide an example of Python code you are using to set the inputs to 'calculate_powercurve()' if you would like me to help troubleshoot.

Best regards,
Paul.
