SAM not recognizing registration key

SAM not recognizing registration key was created by JDuncan

Hello. After not using SAM for a couple of months, I tired to log in and I am getting an error that SAM "could not connect to NREL servers to verify your registration key." There is no internet connection problems on my end. I cannot find a solution in the forum, please advise.

Hi Jake,

Please try downloading and installing the latest version (SAM 2026.7.3) from sam.nlr.gov/download .

If you continue to have trouble, let me know what version of SAM you are trying to use and on what operating system (Windows, Linux or Mac).
