Parabolic Trough Collector

Hii Paul, 
I'm doing a project on PTC plant for the location 28.428 and 77.159. For this plant there is some information available (In research papers) but there is lot of missing (SAM want full information of values of each parameter). I want to develop this plant to get maximum Revenue. For this I need to run the simulation and then I will get the idea that how much output it will give me in terms of energy production and profit. According to simulation I will have the idea that should I run or shouldn't I run this plant. 
But you know I cannot take default values I need to fill original values for this plant for the real idea. (Please look at all the values )
I have attached the file(.sam) in that I have fill some values that I know and let default about that I do not know. 

Please help to get out from this problem and guide me how to look on this issue.

Hi Abhi,

I think your approach is reasonable. Because of the way the inputs for SAM's CSP models are inter-related, it's best to start with the default inputs and gradually change them as you gather information about your project.

For inputs that you are not sure about, you can try different values to see how sensitive your output metrics of interest are. Parametric simulations are useful for this kind of analysis: samrepo.nlr.gov/help/parametrics.html .
